Our Mission

 Organizational Aim: 

Support the development of sociocratic circle-guilds in local bioregions. 

a) Sociocracy workshops: Conduct three workshops prior to the 2025  Convergence, approximately one per quarter. 

b) Incubate "Regenerate Tampa Bay" (RTB) 

c) Host bioregional circle-organizing meetings with interested PDC  graduates. 

d) Integrate bioregionalism and sociocracy into the 2025 Florida  Permaculture Convergence (FPC) by maintaining regular communication  with current FPC board members to align with our mission and objectives.

Outreach Aims: 

a) Create a comprehensive website to coordinate and promote The  Permaculture Guild's mission, aims and initiatives, with email service for  circle roles and other roles. 

b) Participate in local events.

Alliances Aim: 

Foster collaboration with various sectors to advance permaculture and  sociocracy. 

 a. Partnership Aim: Explore the acquisition or stewardship of the 14-acre  property and Peace Education Center owned by the Florida Coalition for Peace  and Justice (“the Coalition”). This includes: 

 i. Engaging with the Coalition's board to assess the organization's current  status and the property's future. 

 ii. Offering support in implementing sociocratic principles to enhance  FCPJ's organizational stability. 

 :ii. Evaluating potential partnerships or acquisition opportunities to  preserve the property for aligned educational and ecological purposes. 

 b. Business Aim: Develop policies to support and promote businesses founded  by PDC graduates under The Permaculture Guild's umbrella. 

 c. Government Aim: Advocate for the state of Florida to eliminate property  taxes for tenure of generational land.
